I have been a horse lover since I was a little girl. Over the years I have worked in a variety of horse facilities including training, boarding, breeding and rescue. At SUNY Cobleskill I earned an Associate's Degree in Equine Science and a Bachelor's Degree in Animal Science.
I am currently very blessed to own a small herd of six rescued horses. Five are lively seniors that provide sturdy mounts for my husband and four children and the sixth I ride in my drill team "Chicks-N-Chaps". Shawnee and I recently entered the local "Old Timers Horse Show" and did quite well - and had a lot of fun!
Even during the times of my life when I could not own horses, I have always found a way to be with them.
The last 12 years I have been a stay at home mom caring for our 4 children during the day as well as working part time at our church and running a successful home based business in the evenings. Now that the children are all in school, I have lots of time to spend on my other love....horses!
